This is a fantastic long couloir that never gets too steep, offers a superb adventure through the impressive steep sided walls, framing the rock climbing Mecca of Gietroz opposite. With the prolonged cold in the Europe and lots of snow to the road is was a must do line and we were fortunate to be able to go there on the last day before the valley temperatures returned to normal, enjoying an epic powder run to the valley floor. I just love this type of day going somewhere new, inspiring line and enough doubt of how its going to work to make it that much more satisfying and memorable when it works.
