My Sister was out with her family and my Niece’s friend last week and they got really lucky with the weather despite a poor forecast. The week started with baltic temperatures and on day 3 the high altitude wind had dropped enough to take the family, teenagers, Michelle and house mate Sandy up the Midi. We had a great run down flat wind polished snow on the Gros Rognan and it was rewarding to see my Niece get so much from the skiing. By the end of the week temperatures had returned to normal and it felt like spring in contrast to the previous cold.
